Special Characters

In HTML there are certain characters you can not 'just type in'. An example is the '<' character. You can not just insert a '<' because the '<' has special meaning in HTML. To write such 'special characters' you need used special 'escape sequences' (ie. < for '<'). HTML Web Weaver allows you to add and edit your own special characters.

To Add tags you either need to drop a Special Characters file in the Special Characters'folder which is inside the 'HTML Extensions' folder , or you can create a special character yourself.
To create your own special characters...

 1. Select the 'Create Special Character Tag' from the sub-menu of 'Special Characters' menu item of the 'Edit' menu.
 2. When the window appears enter any relevant information.
 3. When you choose 'Okay', HTML Web Weaver will create the special characters tag and add it to the 'Special Characters' folder.
